LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Selection Procedure

LIC Assistant Administrative Officer Selection Procedure is through a three tiered process and subsequent Pre-recruitment medical fitness examination. Candidate MUST obtain minimum set qualifying marks in each Section separately and also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview. Descriptive paper of only those candidates is to be evaluated who qualify in the objective examinations. Scores obtain by each candidate in different sessions is to be normalized using equipercentile equating method. Final merit list is to be prepared by calculating the marks obtained in Phase-II and Phase-III of selection process. Detailed scheme of all recruitment phases is given below in “LIC AAO Exam Pattern” section. Candidates, after appointment, shall be on probation for a period of one year. The probation period may be extended upto two years.

LIC Assistant Administrative Officer Eligibility

AAO (Generalist): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

AAO (IT): Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics (or) MCA (or) M.Sc Computer Science.

AAO (Chartered Accountant): Graduate and have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and completion of Articles as presented by ICAI. Should also be Associate member of ICAI.

AAO (Actuarial): Graduate in any discipline. Should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

AAO (Rajbhasha): Post Graduate degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level (OR) Master degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level (OR) Post Graduate in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.

Assistant Architect: B.Arch with three years experience in designing of all types of buildings with allied services. Well versed with green building design requirements. Familiar with AutoCAD and/or similar type software.

Assistant Engineer: Graduate (B.E/B.Tech) in concern stream of engineering/technology.

Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is 21 to 30 years i.e born not earlier than 02/01/1993 and not later than 01/01/2002 both days inclusive only are eligible. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

LIC AAO Exam Pattern

Written exam has objective type multiple choice questions. Duration of each exam is 2 hours. Pattern of both Preliminary Exam and Main Written Examination is listed here. Main examination consists of objective questions for 300 marks and descriptive questions for 25 marks. Objective test has separate timing for every section.
